Huckleberry Seed

Huckleberry Seed was born in the year 1969 at Santa Clara, California. He grew up a perfect picture of your all-American teenager. He went to high school, became the star player of the school’s basketball team, and went on to college taking up electrical engineering. When he was 20, he took a leave of absence from his classes- and he never came back. Huck had started playing poker.

After training for years, getting cleaned out time and time again, and working odd jobs just to finance his poker “education”, Huck finally hit the jackpot. He took home a one million US dollars for winning the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event in 1996. He attempted to make another win three years later, in 1999, but he lost to another poker playing pro named Noel Furlong. He did however finish in sixth place, which was still quite rewarding. The most recent tournament he joined was the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event. He finished at 73rd place, battling out a sea of thousands of players in the process.

Some more accomplishments include winning four World Series of Poker Bracelets, his first one coming to him when he was only in his mid twenties. It was for a Pot Limit Omaha event. His second bracelet came in 1996 where he also went home a million dollars richer. His third bracelet was won from a Razz Poker event, and his fourth bracelet came in the year 2003. Considering most poker players can barely secure one bracelet, it’s safe to say that Huck, with four WSOP Bracelets, is a truly skilled player. Most recently, Huck won 100,000 Canadian dollars for a No Limit Hold ‘em tournament at Calgary and also finished 7th in a HORSE event at the 2008 WSOP. He bagged 280,000 US dollars. Throughout the duration of his career, Huck has amassed 5 million US dollars in winnings.
