Sascha Biorac was a regular working guy before his name started coming out in various poker events. The game caught his attention while he was working as an insurance salesman. He was often with his friends playing home poker games and as his skill and knowledge in the game naturally increased, his interest also increased so much so that he decided to bring his game in a more competent level. He started playing in local casino games and once again proved to be a success, a decision that is worth all the fuss for the German player.
In the field, Biorac is seen as a pretty well-rounded player mastering all sorts of games, not only focusing in one but a few event such as Pot Limit Omaha, Seven Card Stud and Hold’em. He has a total of 4 final table appearances from the time he started playing poker in 2005. One of his early memorable winning was the 2006 Bodensee Poker Chaspionships held in Austria when he finished 2nd overall taking home a total cash wins of $17,077 in the 200 Euro No Limit Hold’em. In his first ever European Poker Tour appearance in the following year at Monte Carlo, Biorac caught people’s attention by bagging a total prize of $22,148 in the Euro 10,000 No Limit Hold’em event. A few months after, it was followed by another successful win in Master Classics of Poker in Holland Casino. Biorac had a total earning of $31,058 in the Euro 5,000 No Limit Hold’em.
In the 39th World Series of Poker Event held in Las Vegas, Biorac finished as 35th overall in the $2,000 Limit Hold’em taking home a total of $5,242 cash wins. Not only that, he also managed to bag a total prize of $6,311 but this time in the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em. Currently, he has a total earnings of over $200,000 in cash from all the tournaments he has joined throughout the years.
